Few days ago I have read a motivational speech from one of the fitness guru from my neighborhood. According to this guy - "Crawling is acceptable. Falling is acceptable. Puking is acceptable. Tears are acceptable. Pain is acceptable. Injury is acceptable. Quitting is unacceptable."

And there was a lot of hash tags following that statement and of course "spontaneous" photo shoot on the top of it. Classic. But take a look at it a bit closer, because there is something wrong whit this full-of-dedication statement. And if you put your money on INJURY, we have a winner! So, I will talk about only one thing that this guy is interested in - visuals. I think that everything is fine with desire to look good... except the idea of getting hurt during the process. I know that during your workout you have to "destroy" your muscles so your brain will get the message "I need to get bigger to survive" but you cannot get hurt while training. It is NOT acceptable.Few days ago I have read a motivational speech from one of the fitness guru from my neighborhood. According to this guy - "Crawling is acceptable. Falling is acceptable. Just imagine being out of business because you have ripped off your biceps or snapped your knee. Even worse - imagine yourself being out FOR LIFE because your injury was that serious. Was it worth it? Was this chase for perfect figure worth risking your health? And feeling pain in your back for the rest of your life is acceptable? Being not able to sleep 2 hours straight because there is some kind of discomfort that does not allows you to rest? Is your big chest or 6-pack worth it? If your answer is "YES" to any of that questions, stop reading and go jump of the cliff now. We have nothing to talk about. Where has the general idea of being healthy gone? Why everyone is going after this phenomenal physique of steroid-pumped-up mutants? Why most of you has agreed to use some kind of extreme form of DIEt? Where being healthy has gone? Is being fit, strong and full of energy "so last decade"? Let me tell you something - you will never be on cover of magazines you masturbate to. But you still want to ruin yourself to try to get there as close as possible? Just ask yourself where this will take you? Will it be a graveyard in age of 30? 40? Ask yourself just one question, and think very carefully before you answer, are you going to be able to wipe your own ass till your last day on Earth?
